Rescues & Rosé has become one of our favorite events of the year at Aspen Sky! Held annually on the last weekend of August, this special event is the perfect way to soak up the final days of summer while supporting an incredible local organization—the Washington County Humane Society.
Giving Back to the Washington County Humane Society
At Aspen Sky, giving back to the community that continues to support us is incredibly important. Through our Aspen Sky Gives Back program, we partner with local nonprofit organizations throughout the year to help support the causes that matter most to our community.
The Washington County Humane Society holds a special place in our hearts, which is why we are proud to dedicate Rescues & Rosé to their organization. The Humane Society works tirelessly to provide care, resources, and new opportunities for animals in need, and we are excited to help support their mission.
Rescues & Rosé gives our guests the opportunity to enjoy a fun day at the winery while directly supporting animals in our community. During the event, 20% of all Aspen Sky Rosé sales for the day will be donated to the Washington County Humane Society. Whether you enjoy a glass of Rosé, purchase a bottle to take home, or cool off with a refreshing Frosé, your purchase will help make a difference.
Bring Your Pup to Rescues & Rosé
Rescues & Rosé is a dog-friendly event, and we would love for your four-legged family members to join in on the fun! Guests are welcome to bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs to enjoy the day alongside them.
We’re also adding a special accessory just for your furry friends! We will have exclusive “Rescued & Rosé’d” dog scarves available, so your pup can look their best while celebrating Rescues & Rosé with you.
With plenty of other pups, activities, live music, and people enjoying the event, please make sure your dog is comfortable in a social environment and remains leashed throughout the event. We want Rescues & Rosé to be a fun and enjoyable experience for both our two-legged and four-legged guests!
And, of course, there will be plenty of adorable pups to meet from the Washington County Humane Society, too.
Meet Adoptable Dogs from the Washington County Humane Society
One of the most special parts of Rescues & Rosé is getting to meet some of the adorable pups looking for their forever homes!
The Washington County Humane Society will have adoptable dogs on-site during the event. If you are ready to add a new furry family member, their team will be available to answer questions, provide information, and help guide you through the adoption process.
Not ready to adopt? That’s completely okay! Their amazing volunteers will also be available to talk with guests about the Humane Society, available animals, volunteering, fostering, donations, and other ways you can support animals in our community.
Even if you don’t leave with a new four-legged family member, you’ll have the opportunity to give some extra love and attention to pups who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
Build Your Own Flower Bouquet
We’re adding even more fun to Rescues & Rosé this year with a Build Your Own Flower Bar!
For a donation to the Washington County Humane Society, you can create your own beautiful flower bouquet to take home. All of the flowers for this activity have been generously donated by Whimsical Roots owner of Whimsical Roots photography, making this another wonderful way to enjoy the day while giving back.
Choose your favorite blooms, get creative, and build a bouquet that’s uniquely yours. Whether you’re creating one for yourself, bringing one home for someone special, or simply looking for a fun activity to enjoy with friends, the flower bar is sure to be a favorite.
Be sure to arrive early to participate, as flowers and supplies will be available while supplies last!
Give Your Pup a Paw-Some Keepsake
Don’t leave your four-legged family member out of the fun! We’re giving your pup the opportunity to leave their mark on a bottle of Aspen Sky Rosé.
Purchase a bottle of Aspen Sky Rosé from the bar, then bring it over to the Washington County Humane Society booth. Their team will help you create a sticker featuring your dog’s paw print and attach it to your bottle.
It’s a fun and unique keepsake that lets you take home a little reminder of your pup—and an amazing day spent supporting the Washington County Humane Society. It’s also the perfect way to combine your love for your dog with your love for Rosé!
Live Music with Bella Musik
What’s a summer afternoon at Aspen Sky without live music?
Bella Musik will be joining us for Rescues & Rosé, keeping the afternoon going with live music from 12 PM–3 PM. Grab a glass of Rosé or Frosé, relax with friends and family, and enjoy the music while taking in everything the day has to offer.
With live music, adoptable dogs, a flower bar, fun activities, and refreshing Rosé, Rescues & Rosé is the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon at Aspen Sky.
