Catering Policies & Procedures
Caterer must be approved by Aspen Sky and meet the following requirements. Caterer agrees to abide by the rules listed below. If caterer does not follow the rules they will be removed from the catering list and not allowed to cater in the building
- Administrative:
- Caterers are required to provide a copy of their business license and a current copy of their certificate of liability insurance. No other proof of insurance will be accepted.
- Caterer is responsible for coordinating with Client to schedule their event arrival / setup time. If caterer wishes to do a walkthrough they must schedule an appointment via the Client.
- Staffing:
- Caterer must provide at least one staff member per every 50 guests.
- At least one staff member must stay until the end of the night to ensure proper clean-up
- Food Service Responsibilities:
- Caterers are responsible for providing linens for serving tables and dining tables (if Client chooses) and all dishware/utensils unless agreed upon with the Client that they will source these separately
- Caterer is responsible for bussing
- Cooking is by default not allowed on the premises. Caterers will have access to a catering kitchen with a refrigerator, prep tables and prep sinks. The use of any barbeques, grills, heaters or fryers are subject to the approval of Aspen Sky in writing.
- Caterer is responsible for cake and/or coffee service if desired by Client. Aspen Sky does NOT provide coffee or cake service for Clients.
- Aspen Sky Responsibilities
- Aspen Sky is responsible for bar service for the entirety of the event along with water service during dinner
- Clean Up Requirements:
- All trash cans empty
- All trash disposed of in the outside waste receptacle
- Kitchen floor swept & mopped with provided cleaning supplies
- Kitchen sinks empty & clean
- Kitchen refrigerator empty
- Prep tables cleaned
- All silverware / dishes / serving items / etc removed
- Ice scoop is left on top of the ice maker
